flowtapelabs.com is a holding page with a waitlist for the FlowTape Labs beta. This notice covers everything the site collects today.

Your email, if you join the waitlist

  • What: the email address you enter in the waitlist form. We don't ask for anything else.
  • Why: to contact you about the FlowTape Labs beta. We don't use it for anything else, and we don't sell it.
  • Where it's kept: Netlify, our web host, stores waitlist entries for us (Netlify Forms). It may store technical details with each entry, such as your IP address and browser.

Analytics (PostHog)

We use PostHog to understand how the site is used. It records the pages you view, your clicks and scrolling (including heatmaps), page-load performance, the site that sent you here, your browser and device type, and your IP address, which it uses to estimate your approximate location. PostHog keeps a random identifier in a cookie and in your browser's local storage so repeat visits can be counted together, and it processes this data in the United States.

Session recording is turned off. What you type into the waitlist form isn't sent to PostHog; we only count that a signup happened. A browser setting or extension that blocks trackers will stop PostHog from loading.

Hosting (Netlify)

Netlify serves this site. Like any web host, it processes technical data such as your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.

How long we keep it

  • Your waitlist entry: we keep it only while the waitlist runs. We delete it within 30 days of your request, or when we close the waitlist.
  • Analytics: PostHog keeps analytics data for the retention period of our PostHog plan: 1 year on its free plan, 7 years on its paid plans. We don't link it to your email address.

Being removed, and questions

To leave the waitlist, email hello@yourstopwashit.com from the address you signed up with and we'll delete it. Write to hello@yourstopwashit.com with any other privacy question.

Children

This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this notice changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. See also our terms.
